Long Island Fights has learned that undefeated local boxer Chris Algieri (11-0) will make his next appearance at the Paramount in November 19 against Bayan "The Mongolian Mongoose" Jargal (15-2-3) in a ten-round main event.
Jargal was undefeated before coming up short in consecutive decisions to Steve Upsher Chambers and Breidis Prescott, and the tough native Mongolian will no doubt be looking to avoid three straight in the "L" column. Algieri, a former undefeated ISKA kickboxing champion, has yet to taste defeat inside the ring and most recently TKO'd a rugged Philadelphia fighter in Julius Edmonds at the Plattdeutsche in Franklin Square last St. Patrick's Day.
