Battle of Champions II: Larry Batista vs. Robert Mendoza

Rd. 1 was close; The shorter Mendoza (Mora's TKD) was beating Batista (Bellmore Kickboxing) to the punch, but Batista soon found his rhythm and fought back to take the round 10-9. Batista, who had plenty of crowd support, heated up in Rd. 2 and never let up. His fists and feet landed, he controlled the pace, he cut off angles, and he did some nice body work, especially in Rd. 3. All three judges scored the fight 30-27 for Larry Batista. I wished this fight would have gone past three rounds.
