Battle of Champions II: Jordan Carroll vs. Dan Lucas

215-pounders Jordan Carroll (Bellmore Kickboxing) and former USKBA World Champ Dan Lucas were scheduled for five, but Carroll was having none of that. The much shorter Carroll, fuelled on by a fervent crowd and the guys from TV's Rescue Ink (Carroll is on the show), punished Lucas's body early in Rd. 1 and pounded on the former world champ with his nasty left hook. Just moments after the Rd. 2 opening bell, Carroll landed a vicious right hand that left Lucas crumbled in the corner. The ref stepped in and called the fight, giving Carroll the win by devastating KO. Carroll had plenty of family and friends in the crowd, so I was glad to see the Long Island fighter leave with the big win.
